                                The Westminster Organ Concert Series celebrates its thirtieth season with a concert of Bach cantatas
on Friday, June 4, at 8 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 190 Rugby Road in Charlottesville
The program, entitled "Heavenly Love, Earthly Love" presents cantatas for soprano and bass,
including the Wedding Cantata, and one of Bach's violin and harpsichord sonatas. 
Soprano Megan Sharp and bass David Newman will perform
along with an ensemble of some of the finest baroque musicians in the area.
A reception follows the concert
co-sponsored by our local chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO).
Ample parking is available behind the church, and the sanctuary is wheelchair-accessible.

Bill Newcomb, Lesslie Crowell and Linda Hanson 
will be performing the first and last movements of
J.S Bach's Trio Sonata for 2 Recorders and Keyboard in Bflat major(BWV 1039) on
July 11 at the Sunday Morning service of the Wesley United
Memorial Methodist Church on Emmet.
